Innocent by Intimidation
The vile underbelly of the Karen Read case.
The Karen Read case has brought out some of the worst online behaviors I’ve ever witnessed.
The virtual smear campaign of every person connected to this case, except for the defendant herself, has been nothing short of witness intimidation, harassment, and egregious mob mentality.
On top of that…
People are being slandered and doxxed in retaliation for simply supporting the witnesses in this case, as well as for speaking out against the rabid marketing campaign to Free Karen Read.
I know this sounds dramatic. But unfortunately, it’s true.

The amount of conspiracy speculation, misleading information, and bully behavior has been a nightmare for the victim’s family and friends, as well as witnesses, medical professionals, and emergency personnel in this case.
Microdots, who tweeted this slanderous poll below to their X mob, has been working for Karen’s defense team since last year. Firefighter Katie McLaughlin’s medical skills have absolutely nothing to do with this case. Zero.
BUT they don’t care.
The war over this particular firefighter on the stand was that she would not concur with the defense that she was a “close friend” with Caitlin Albert, the daughter of the homeowners. Firefighter McLaughlin and the defense attorney played a tug-of-war game of semantics regarding the definition of “acquaintance” versus “friend”.
McLaughlin says she went to high school with Caitlin a decade ago, and they occasionally ran in the same circle because they share mutual friends. She states that they have partied at the same social events over the last ten years, however she had no idea this was Caitlin’s family home the morning she arrived on call for an unresponsive man near the road.
Regardless of whether one defines the relationship one way or another…
The truth is —
There is no proof of a close relationship surrounding this time. Or contact for that matter between these girls in the last two years.
Let alone, any proof that Katie would be willing to frame Karen Read and risk her own livelihood and career as a favor to Caitlin Albert. It’s ridiculous.
Katie was trying to save John’s life. Period.
BUT…
The defense needs this narrative to push a corruption storyline to save their client.
They can not let the jury believe that the angry, drunk driver was actually driving recklessly.
Every single witness MUST be slandered and impeached to make this conspiracy viable. And now Canton Firefighter McLaughlin has taken a leave of absence from her role as a life-saving hero, due to the public slandering and harassment pushed out by people who align themselves with the defense.
What a huge loss for the Canton community.
She’s now been added to a larger group of good people who have become a victim to this nasty defense warfare, including the victim’s own family.

Followed up by another clip of more egregious and vile behavior.
This boisterous, self-proclaimed journalist, has been charged with witness intimidation felonies, which are currently pending. He has threatened witnesses to not leave their own home, showed up at witness’ kid’s sport’s game to humiliate them, harassed a witness’ place of business, among many other behaviors.
The MOST concerning part of all this is…
The defense team is friendly with this man.
Very friendly.

There are more examples of this witch hunt mentality.
The medical examiner who did the victim’s autopsy, has yet to even take the witness stand as I write this on 5/19/24.
However…
Her professional profile has been slandered with 1 star-reviews in recent months because conspiracy theorists think she colluded with a line of people to frame Karen Read and cover up a dog bite and a teen brawl.
The angry conspiracy mob doesn’t care to hear about the 100-page autopsy report that the public has not even had access to yet, nor do they care to understand the “why” behind the examiner’s conclusion stating that the victim’s body shows no signs of a “physical altercation”.
A shorter summary explanation is actually in public reports, but alas, that does not feed the hungry mob who want the heads of all law enforcement, medical staff, and witnesses on a platter.
Even the judge is not safe from these aggressive people. Conspiracy theorist content creators like, attorney Melanie Little, are even doing things like counting how many times the judge coughs because they think the judge is signaling the prosecution to “object”.
As we know, history is known to repeat itself…
And Massachusetts has just showed up with the sequel to the Salem Witch Trials that took place centuries ago right in that same state.
This time though, it’s the community of good samaritans and average families being burned at the virtual stake due to a mass hysteria over speculated police corruption.
This is not to say corruption does or does not exist somewhere within the MASS state police…
There just isn’t actual proof of corruption found in this isolated case, and the defense knows it.
In fact —
In the pre-trial hearings, the Defense team, who dramatically claimed they had proof of corruption, decided last minute to not file the “Egregious Government Misconduct” motion after they received the final reports from the federal investigation.
I know this is an overwhelming amount of info. And trust me, this is just a portion of what I have to share regarding this topic, but I hope I was able to highlight the gravity of this aggressive mob mentality.
The good news is…
We can all fight back on behavior like this, and it starts with our own behaviors.
Be a good human online.
Don’t intervene in the lives of actual people who are involved in cases.
Disagree without retaliation.
Read documents.
Consume info cautiously. Always try and confirm from several trusted sources.
Remember to keep victim’s at the forefront always.
