I have often wondered how deep Bilal is in Hae’s murder. Did he help or encourage him or prompt him with rhetoric to get him angrier? Did she tell Adnan she slept with Don at their last meeting and he lost it or how planned was it. Sure seems planned. Did Bilal abuse Adnan? There is more to him and this story but the reality is we will never for sure. Great article as always!!
Really makes you wonder what their relationship was really like... the fact that bilal visited adnan in prison just as much as his family leads me to believe he was a confidant and I'll bet he knows more about adnans recollection of jan.13th than anybody else..
I would assume (and hope) that the community was in the dark about what kind of person he truly was. I tried to research how the congregation handled his position once he was charged with a sex crime with a minor, but I can't seem to find anything regarding it.
